Melissa Soleski
Masters of Counselling Psychology Art Therapy Student
Melissa is a graduate student at Adler University completing her Master of Counselling Psychology: Art Therapy. As a practicum student, she is working under the supervision of Jillian Bagan while developing her skills as an emerging art therapist. Melissa’s approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and curiosity, creating a space where clients can explore their stories through both words and art.
Informed by her lived experience with chronic pelvic pain, Melissa understands the value of art as a powerful tool for reflection, release, and healing. She is particularly passionate about supporting individuals living with chronic pain, stress, and fatigue, as well as youth and members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Her person-centred practice invites clients to move at their own pace while fostering self-understanding, resilience, and connection.
Melissa believes that therapy can be both an anchor and a creative process—a space to be witnessed, to make meaning, and to reconnect with one’s inner resources. She offers low-barrier online art therapy sessions under supervision, providing an accessible and creative path toward emotional well-being and self-discovery.

Low-Barrier Art Therapy
Affordable therapy that truly acknowledges your experience can be hard to find. At Jillian Bagan Art Therapy, we believe that mental health support should be accessible, inclusive, and responsive to real life—not held back by long waitlists, complicated processes, or high fees.
Our low-barrier therapy model is designed to remove obstacles to care by offering sliding-scale sessions with our supervised graduate student, Melissa, and by creating a supportive space where clients can show up exactly as they are. Whether you’re navigating chronic pain, stress, identity exploration, or emotional overwhelm, you deserve care that meets you with understanding and flexibility.
Together, we’re reimagining what therapy can look like—less about jumping through hoops, and more about helping you access the support you need, when you need it.
